Weight: The weight of the armor.

Damage Reduction: How much damage the armor mitigates from various attack types (regular/slash/thrust/strike).

Elemental Defense: How much damage the armor mitigates from various elemental damage types (magic/fire/lightning).

Resistance: The armors resistance to auxiliary effects (bleed/poison/toxin/curse).

Poise: The inertia of the armor, decides how well you can keep your stance while being hit. Read more about poise.

Durability: The lifespan of each armor piece will slowly degrade during use, and if not repaired will drastically lose defense when durability gets low.
  • At 30% durability; the effectiveness of the armor will be reduced to 70%, and the message 'Armor at Risk!' will display on screen.
  • At 0% durability; the effectiveness of the armor will be reduced to 50%, and the message 'Armor Broken!' will display on screen.
All damage reduction is affected by low durability, even poise is affected (halved at 0 durability).

upgrades: Many armors can be upgraded, either by normal titanite (up to +15), or by twinkling titanite (up to +5).
