Blue Eye Orb is a Multiplayer Item in Dark Souls.

Blue Eye Orb Use

  • Use this item to invade the world of a player who has 'sin', and more likely someone who is listed in the Book of the Guilty.
  • Like the Red Eye Orb, this item has unlimited uses.
  • Can invade BELOW the users' own level, to what limit is not confirmed, can invade above own level also.
    • This has been changed in the Remastered version, so that the Blue Eye Orb in that version has the same summon range as the Red Eye Orb.
  • Can be used while either human or hollow, and does not drop a bloodstain.
  • Note that it may be greyed out if too close to a bonfire or crossroad to multiple areas

Bugs

  • Once in a blue moon you may come across with a bug that makes you invade as a red phantom instead of a blue spirit of vengeance. Killing the target in this form does not grant a souvenir of reprisal but instead gives humanity. Receiving 'sin' after a kill is unknown. You receive sin when the user you "invaded" gets killed by you.

the lack of cooldown for invading the same host is nice, but it doesn't mean much when so many just block you after the first invasion

Does this even work on players who have killed the boss in their area? I've only ever seen darkmoons in the depths in between gravelording.

What’s the point in being a blade of the dark moon and punishing sinners if they change it so you can’t invade low level sinners, that just ruins the whole concept. All sinners are supposed to be equal in the eyes of the dark moon and therefore pair game for his blades but the leftist society we live in “won’t allow new players to be hurt” even when it’s their fault for committing sin! This is bull crap and unfortunately the original game is dead thanks to this demaster so I guess the dark Moon covenant is dead, thanks feminazis.

Only once, I invaded a new player stuck on O&S, and wound up "invading" as a friendly white and helped him beat the pair .

I have never been able to replicate this.
