 Trident of the Six-eyed Channelers, sorcerers who serve Seath the Scaleless in collecting human specimens. Thrusted in circular motions in a unique martial arts dance that stirs nearby allies into a bloodthirsty frenzy.

Notes:

 

  • The two-handed heavy attack of the trident increases the attack power of allies (i.e. real or NPC phantoms, enemy characters in an invaded world) by 40%
    This is a useful weapon before a boss fight when you have summoned Phantoms into your world or to give yourself some breathing room during an invasion.
  • The duration of the 'channelers dance' buff lasts for 20 seconds.
  • The durability also deteriorates fast (80 points per use) when using the special attack, and after three uses the weapon breaks.
  • Boosts AR by 40% to all allies within area of effect. Buff power does not increase as weapon is upgraded.
  • Once the weapon's durability has reached zero, you can still use the R2 to get the "dance" animation but you won't receive the buff.

 

Farming

 

  • Equip a +5 Ascended Pyromancy Glove and Great Combustion, and make sure the stairs are turned so that you can reach the second Channeler (on the top level in the room with the bonfire balcony). Then, from the bonfire in the prison cell, run to the ladder, across the balcony and into the Archives, kill the Channelers, and Homeward (Bone) back. You can safely ignore the serpent men, and have enough Great Combustion to one-shot all enemies, including the Channelers. This method nets two Channelers each run and can be done in about a minute.

Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost useless. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.

Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
