the easiest way i've found to cure curse is to:
take the shortcut lift and walk onto the ledge as it goes up then role off the cliff to the right onto the tower ledge not the land form further down the cliff. then walk up the stairs to the crows nest to get back to the asylum. drop cracked red eye stone into the nest of the sparkly the crow character and formally quit to the title screen. then load and the sparkly the crow will give you two curse healing items for one cracked red eye stone. i have done this several times so it does work, and if anyone else knows an easy early way to heal curse please share.
