Build Strategy

Forward: this is a challenge I concocted whilst in the throes of boredom. I found it to be fun, and challenging all at the same time. It took me a solid week to complete it, and It may not be so difficult as the "roll 'round naked only using the bandit's knife" type thing, but I decided that it would be fun to share this! 
(( note: I completed my own challenge twice with one in progress using my own rules...I'll post the stats for the character I used for each...)) 
Clarification: Until you get the Halberd, The ONLY polearm weapon you are allowed is the winged spear. You MUST get the halberd as soon as you are able, and you MUST have met the requirements to use it once you get it. 

Basic rules: 
- You may wear any armor you think looks cool. 
- You are ONLY allowed to use the Halberd, Lucerne or Gargoyle's Halberd. 
- You may ONLY upgrade the Halberd to +15. 
- You may use a small shield. 
- You may wear only ONE ring at a time. 
- You may skip some bosses (if you know how.) 
- You may take ONE spell and catalyst of your choice. 
- You may use Bows and Crossbows. 
- You can summon ONE phantom for a boss. 

Hardcore Halberdier 
- You may wear any armor you think looks cool. 
- You are ONLY allowed to use the Halberd or Lucerne. 
- You may ONLY upgrade the Halberd to +10. 
- You may NOT use a shield 
- You may wear only ONE ring at a time. 
- You may NOT skip any required boss. 
- You may NOT take any spell or catalyst. 
- You may ONLY use crossbows. 
- You CANNOT kindle a bonfire past +10 
- You CANNOT Exceed Lv. 50 
- You can summon ONE phantom for ONE boss.
