---|
|
Lingering Dragoncrest Ring is a Ring in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. Players can equip up to 2 Rings, but equipping two of the same item is not possible.
Effect
- Increases the length of magic effects by 50%.
- Affects the following sorceries:
- Hush - Confirmed
- Fall Control - Confirmed
- Cast Light - Confirmed
- Hidden Body - Confirmed
- Hidden weapon - Confirmed
- Magic Shield - Confirmed
- Strong Magic Shield - Confirmed
- Magic Weapon - Confirmed
- Great Magic Weapon - Confirmed
- Crystal Magic Weapon - Confirmed
- Affects the following pyromancies:
- Flash Sweat - Confirmed
- Power Within - Confirmed
- Iron Flesh - Confirmed
- Does not affect any miracles.
- Does not affect buffs from other sources, such as the Channeler's Trident or the Dragon Torso Stone.
Location
- Can be bought from Griggs of Vinheim for 20,000 souls.
Application
- This ring is more useful for characters not spec'd into high level magic, as these time increases are static.
- Great to use for increasing the duration of Magic Weapon, Great Magic Weapon and Crystal Magic Weapon, as unlike the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, it does affect Weapon Buffs (sorceries only).
- Also useful with Power Within since it increases the duration, but not the total HP loss.

Does anything else in the game stack with this ring? I'm trying to do some skips and I want to increase the duration of fall control. TY!

If only this worked with Darkmoon Blade like it does in DS3..

*Does NOT work with Miracles*
Why does Miyazaki hate miracles so much?

Do you have to keep the ring equipped? Or can I, let's say equip the ring, use great magic weapon, then unequip it? Thanks.

How does the ring works? Do you have yo equip it only while casting the spell, or is it necesary to equip it while the spell is going to increase the time the spell will last?
