Dark Souls Servers & Regions are based on P2P connectivity, and do not impose the limitations that Demon's Souls had on cross-region play. The original 2012 Dark Souls and 2018's Dark Souls Remastered do have differences in the way Multiplayer and Summon Range work.
- On all versions, there's no cross-platforming. All players are limited to online play with their own platform.
Players from all regions will be able to play with each other so:
- PS3 - JP+NA+EU
- 360 - NA+EU
- PC - JP+NA+EU
- PS4 - JP+NA+EU
- XBOX One - NA+EU
- Nintendo Switch - JP+NA+EU
