Sieglinde of Catarina

Sieglinde Of Catarina - Dark Souls Remastered

Information

Sieglinde of Catarina is a Character in Dark Souls. She is the daughter of Siegmeyer of Catarina. She is first found in the yard between the Duke's Archives and the Crystal Cave, and is essential to Siegmeier's storyline. She, like her father, is easily identifiable by her set of Catarina Armor.

Catarina Storyline

Note: the article for Siegmeyer has a more detailed explanation of how to progress through this storyline.

After you help Siegmeyer in Blighttown, by giving him three pieces of purple moss, the Golden Crystal Golem will appear in the small forest outside the Duke's Archives. Defeat the golem to free her, and to advanced their story-line. (It is possible that she will "bug" and you will not be able to speak with her. If this happens, log out and back in. She will now be in a different position and you should be able to speak with her.)
When you talk to her she thanks you and asks about her father. Speak with her again here or at Firelink Shrine and she will ask if you have seen her father. You can answer "Yes" or "No", but if you answer "No" her path will end. Answer "Yes", and she will leave Firelink. Once you have saved Seigmeyer from Lost Izalith come back to Firelink to find her there again. Once you speak with her she will head off to Ash Lake, where she can be found at the first bonfire (Nearest to the Great Hollow). Here you can see the final ending for her and her father, where she will give you a Titanite Slab.

Drops

  • 10 Humanity can be absorbed from Sieglinde with the Dark Hand

I don't know what happened, but after following the quest line, talked to her at firelink, she said on my way. I went to the bonfire at ash lake and there was no one there. When I got back to Firelink, she's there and already talking like she had killed him.

wait. i saved her first on my way to seath and said yes, then back at firelink i answered with no and then i killed all those four things before talking with seigmeyer in izalith, is he dead?

It's so weird how many people are hating her, especially for killing him but he's literally gone hollow. We do the same to npcs when they go hollow all the time. Crestfallen knight anyone? She doing him a mercy while being entirely human

I mean if you look at the various ends of DS characters, this one is not the worst. You die in Ash Lake, by the beach, looking at those mighty old trees, feeling a quietness and tranquility you rarely get in this world. Who knows, maybe he asked his daughter to finish him, they shared one last estus together, said goodbye, not farewell. And that was it.

AND THEN CAME THE ****ING WALKING CLAMS.

I don't know why this argument always pops up with anything to do with dark souls but basically Gwyn and his relatives race is being a god while giants and humans are seperate races, humans were cursed with the dark sign by Gwyn there's also some other unspecified races in the games.

Wow. Pulled the golden golem with my bow thinking ooooo yeah plunge time b!tch.. then a blue boy saw our party and just had to join. I'm cool with it, 2 for the price of 1 plunge. Drop off the platform and one-shot goldy****s but kinda miss blue boy, so of course MID SECOND SWING I suddenly hear a fair maiden speak "wow holy sh!t I've been stuck inside that golden prison forever, IM SO HORN--" as I slice them both in half. Thank you Dark Souls.

What a ****ing badass. She traveled though all of Lordran alone as a normal human. No estus, no bonfires, no resurrection. One death is the end. And she still made it to the Archives and Ash Lake which means she made it through Sen's Fortress and Blighttown and then just left after she completed her quest. Absolute unit.

when I do co-op in dukes and my host kills the gold golem, Sieglinde appears, character model without armor, with bastard sword (can see clearly the model) and tower kite shield, not pierce shield. However in my world, Sieglinde has bastard sword and pierce shield. I m interested for a Sieglinde - Siegward duo cosplay, what do you guys think is her real shield? same as her father or tower kite shield?

Is it true she is not Undead? Can you imagine how badass she needs to be to get to Duke's Archives, back to Firelink, then to Ash Lake, without warping, Estus, Bonfires, or the comfort of knowing she will revive in a bonfire?

"After you help Siegmeyer in Blighttown, by giving him three pieces of purple moss, the Golden Crystal Golem will appear in the small forest outside the Duke's Archives" the golden golem can be found and sieglinde freed before giving siegmeyer the moss, as long as you didnt progress into lost izalith yet

I have never been more attracted to a NPC. This onion queen has my heart now. I don't even know what she looks like, but she has a beautiful soul, and a lovely voice. I just want to give her a big ol hug when ever I see her. I will always remember you Sieglinde! Stay a badass onion, and wonderful girl!

Just learned the other day that Miyazaki is a big Harry Potter nerd and had Sieglinde modeled after Emma Watson, lol.

I answered "No" at Firelink when she asked if I had seen her father, but I was still able to complete the questline. Siegmeyer still appeared at Lost Izalith, and after we had defeated the Chaos Eaters, I was able to interact with Sieglinde again at Firelink Shrine and at Ash Lake.

Gave Seigmeyer moss, have pierce shield. Still no golem in Dukes Archives. Seigmeyer doesn't leave blighttown either
