Crown of the Dark Sun Description
"Crown of the Dark Sun Gwyndolin, protector of the forsaken city of Anor Londo. This crown of the gods demands faith immeasurable of its wearer, but it is imbued with Darkmoon power that enhances all magic. The image of the sun manifests Gwyndolin's deep adoration of the sun."
Where to Find \ Location
- Purchased from Domhnall of Zena for 10,000 souls (Must kill Gwyndolin in order to have them appear in his shop).
Notes
- Grants approx. 10% bonus to magic.
- Most commonly associated with Faith based players.
- Stacks with Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring
- Less magic boost than the Crown of Dusk, but does not weaken magic defense.
- Does not affect the damage of Weapon Buffs.
- The Crown of the Dark Sun cannot be reinforced.
- Part of the Gwyndolin Moonlight Set. Pieces include Crown of the Dark Sun, Moonlight Robe, Moonlight Gloves and Moonlight Waistcloth.

first time i saw it on gwyndolin's head, i genuenly thought it was a sunlight maggot, and i was like "isn't that the thing that made solaire go mad?" and for the longest time i'd think of the lore implications of gwyndolin wearing a sunlight maggot in his head, until i found out that it was a different thing altogether.

It's increases the damage of offensive spells by 10% compared to the crown of dusk's 20% (and 30% more vulnerable to all magic damage)

Am I the only one who thinks that Dark Sun Gwyndolin's helmet looks an awful lot like the Sunlight Maggot or whatever it's called helmet that drove Solaire mad?
So we can get links to Fan theories that aren't in Canon and shouldn't be here but I can't get a % Adjust from this Helm? How many years has DkS1 been around?
