How to Get / Where to Find the Dragon Bone Fist
- Ascending Caestus or Claws +10 with the Core of an Iron Golem at the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo.
- Does not ascend with Dark Hand.
Hints and Tips:
- Give to Frampt to receive 5000 souls.
- Special: Strong (R2) attack is a massive uppercut that shatters enemy defenses, and launches them high into the air.
- Special: Weapon grants a +30 to Magic DEF and +30 to Flame DEF.
- It can be enchanted / buffed for additional attack bonuses, like the Dragon Tooth and the Dragon King Greataxe.
- If the user has the same amount of STR and DEX, the Caestus will always have higher attack than the Dragon Bone Fist. This is because the Caestus scales with both STR and DEX, while the Dragon Bone Fist only scales with STR.

So I’ve been going through weapon stats in the game files for something I’m working on and the wiki seems wrong about the STR scaling here. Ingame files list STR scaling for the Dragon Bone Fist at 120% not 35%.
This combined with the x1.2 parameter bonus from upgrading to +5 means the full STR scaling is 144%. This should be around 346 damage at +5 with 99 STR. Anyone can check ingame to confirm this if they’d like.

Pretty sure that scaling is not 35%.
I just tested with 50 str:
+0 => 119%
+1 => 126%
+2 => 132%
+3 => 132%
+4 => 137%
+5 => 144%
