Honestly, when it comes to this weapon I'd say don't listen to the naysayers who say this weapon is bad in comparison to the Great Club/Large Club, I steamrolled the DLC with this thing and took down Artorias in like 3-4 tries and Manus in like 5 to 7 tries at most with it on my very first time playing through this game, and although it has bad scaling that absolutely monstrous base damage definitely makes up for it,
And compared to the Great Club although it's heavier and has higher requirements and it gets outdamaged by it by a small margin at high strength levels, I vastly prefer the moveset of this thing, it's longer, it has a way better R2 in my opinion since it's faster and seems like it has longer reach and it can be aimed, the rolling attack is quite fast and has a suprisingly sizable hitbox despite the seemingly short reach on it, and it still hits like an absolute truck one-shotting most mobs with ease, and not to mention I just like the look and feel of it a lot more, and plus there's the absurd cool factor of smashing enemies into a bloody pulp with a giant ancient tooth, honestly give this weapon a try if you like huge smashy-smasher weapons and you're going for a high endurance heavy weapon build, this weapon likely won't disappoint
And sure the Great Club might be better damage-wise, but honestly, Damage isn't everything (plus you tell me which is cooler: A ****-covered Tree Branch found in stinky poo-poo town that's probably covered in who-knows-what due to stewing up in toxic swamp gunk for ages, or a giant tooth of an ancient colossal Archdragon that's as long as you are tall and so unbreakably durable it can be used like an extremely powerful giant hammer)

Now you've really got to wonder what absolute unit of a Dragon this tooth must have belong to before Havel took it as a weapon, Like the thing is bigger than a Great Club, which for reference is a tree log used as a weapon, I'm gonna assume Havel being the gigachad that he is took the tooth of a great Archdragon and used it as his weapon of choice.

If you are fighting and oversized foe you’ll need an oversized weapon

What weapon did he use to kill the dragon he got this from?
- Anonymous
Um...I can do 1009 damage with 47 strength two handed so something is wrong here, or I got some.messed up modded addition so yeah me

I dislike the moveset, but it looks cooler than the other hammers

It's not the most powerful weapon in the world, but it's still a good weapon

i wonder how he got the grip attached to that thing.. did he just jabb the tooth into it?
did he add more tooth material from another tooth to it?
made are dragon teeth made out of? if it is rocks, did he melt another smaller tooth or chunk of one to the other to get the grip?

This weapon is great for dealing with the Silver Knights. (If you have enough strength) It will two shot them, so just rush it and spam R1/RT. It will stun them on the first hit as well, so no need to worry about counters, parries, etc. Just land that first hit, and stay out of the agro range of the other knights.

am i the only one who noticed the dragon tooth hammer is too big to be the tooth of any dragon in the game???
so what ever dragon he killed is clearly op
making Havel the rock the doom guy of dark souls!!!

Be me. First playthrough. Face Seath. OhshitOhshitOhshitOh*****Avoid breath of death!!! 2nd playthrough (new char). Come face Seath with full Havel's + DT+5 + Sunlight Blade + Great Magic Barrier. Me to Seath: "Wassup maggot"

My dragon tooth+5 has an AR of 606 while two handed with 50 strength. The damage chart above may be incorrect

May need to edit the reinforcement requirements for +1 on the page, as it says you need 4 Dragon Titanite, whereas in game you only need 1 for the first reinforcement.

Great weapon if you like to 2 hand. And you can throw lightning or fire on it to boot!

It seems its added resistance takes away some damage, sunlight blade will fix that though.
If it didn't weigh quite as much I would like this weapon a lot more, but honestly I don't really think it's worth it, most of the time, if you want range you should go with the Zweihänder and if you want more damage you should go for the Demon's Great Axe or the Great Club.
