Outland miracle, foreign to the Way of White. Emit Shockwave.
Considered an alternative branching of Force. Emits an expanding shockwave orb.

Usage

  • Ranged, AoE
  • Shoots a large ball of force energy to explode on the target causing damage to the target and close surrounding enemies.
    Can deflect sorceries..

Acquired From

Notes

  • Summons a big magic orb which is hurled towards the target. Explodes upon impact.
  • The radius is slightly smaller than that of Force and deals more or less equal damage to all enemies in the radius.
  • The base damage and radius scale with miracle resonance, from 240 base damage and 1.5m radius at level 0, to 280 damage and 2.5m radius at level 4
  • Its AoE is useful for dealing with groups of shielding enemies. Aiming such that the projectile lands behind the target will damage them normally even if their shield is up

Great for PvE but junk for PvP.

I mean in PvP you telegraph to everyone: "Heeey loook I'm casting big azz giant white ball of force and I will soon throw it at you so you may want to side step but don't even bother with rolling since this one fly so slow."

But as far as PvE goes most enemiest wouldn't react and will charge getting hit in right the face. Perfect for stacked groups like bone towers. Just mind the limited range.

The damage on this is actually pretty good. At 50 FTH with a darkmoon talisman this does 542 magic damage, while at 50 INT with logan's catalyst Great Heavy Soul Arrow does 567 magic damage and Great Soul Arrow does 354.

The problem is the cast speed and the range, which are both very low. It's slow to cast and you need to be very close to your target for it to hit. What makes it even worse is the very low number of uses. Unlike the spear miracles you can get an extra copy of this every NG+ cycle though.

Overall this spell is outclassed in most ways by Wrath of the Gods, which does 632 magic damage at 50 FTH with the darkmoon catalyst and has a much shorter cast time. You can also get an extra copy every NG+ cycle for more uses.

good for dealing with enemies in small groups. The group of hollows in the undead church, the pisaca's in the duke's archives, (you can farm them this way) the bloatheads in the dlc, (the ones in groups of 1 or 2)

Make sure that you tell Seigmeyer that you opened the gates to Sen's Fortress because if you say that it wasnt you he doesnt give you the miracle. this was the final miracle that i needed for the achievement and i have to play through the game again just to get this one miracle

"Radius is slightly bigger than that of Force and deals more or less equal damage to all enemies in the radius."What? Force does no damage at all. Get your facts straight.
