This plus pharis bow plus hawk ring lets you do damage to very distant things. Gwyndolin for example.

Has anyone done testing as to whether or not these arrows actually increase range? Because I've heard that it doesn't actually increase range, but instead just has reduced damage falloff compared to other arrow types.

these do not 'fly' at a faster velocity than other arrows as the notes make it seem, rather they slightly accelerate for an unnoticeably longer amount of time at the end of their flight path which has no practical effect as was implied
