Giant's Halberd is a Weapon in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered.
Large halberd made of old brass, used by the giant sentinels of Anor Londo."
"Brass contains traces of lightning, but as the halberd is designed for the giant sentinels, its weight is unbearable."
How to Get / Where to Find the Giant's Halberd
- Drops from Sentinel (2% chance - Anor Londo)
- Drops from Royal Sentinel (2% chance - Anor Londo)
- Bought from Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo.
- Give to Frampt to receive 50 souls.

I like this weapon in mid-game.
If you didn't get BKH in Darkroot Garden you can just buy this right after getting to Anor Londo and upgrade this to the maximum with Twinkling Titanite.
Also it looks stylish with Giant Armor.

One of the bigger disappointments of a weapon up to this point in a game. Love me a Halberd that I literally can’t thrust with :/ the moveset is janky, stats are meh, it requires Twinkling Titanite to level up... Do yourself a favor and shove this into Frampt’s mouth if you get one. You get a free Lightning Spear from Sen’s Fortress, the area before Anor Londo, and it’s far, far superior

Another thing to note: because it's a halberd, the running attack is bugged while you're slowed down by water or sludge, skipping the animation to the damaging part. Probably useless except for a few occasions and only in PvE but i thought it was worth poiting out

This could be good if it had a higher scaling, specially in Str
Like, this is a GIANT'S Halberd. It would make sense to have some good Str scaling, while also making a place for itself being the only Str Halberd in the game and all (well, I guess most Halberds are ''quality'', but you get me)

You guys hating on it are dumb. When you reach Giant Blacksmith, you should have the full +5 set including this Halberd to do the most damage possible at that point. It is fast and does more damage than any comparable +10 regular.

The love child between the Black Knight Halberd and the Demon's Spear.
Good moveset and range, not so good damage and weight. Still pretty fun to use.

Playing dsr and for the first time using this after a sentinel drop. Reinforced to +3 currently and it does work!! Easily destroying everything in my path through anor londo, painted world, and beyond. I can't believe I never used this when I played through the original. Solid moveset although with that being said, if i get lucky enough to receive a bkh i may switch.

I like it simply because it's one of the 4 weapons with innate lightning in the game.

Unfortunately, the giant's halberd is the worst halberd in my opinion. It has multitude of issues like low scaling, high requirements, worst against enemies who resist lighting, slow heavy attack, heaviest halberd and faces competition from the black Knight halberd. The black Knight halberd at least has lower scaling, lighter and it's better against other enemies especially demons. That said it's solid against enemies who's weak against lighting.

4 things that would convince you try this weapon: 1) one of longest weapons in game [longest reach in halberd class] 2) moveset is very good, especially R2 thrust that has huge reach 3) Stylish asf! 4) Will cheap damage through shields

ymmv, but I have been SHREDDING the game with a +5 of this. Smough and Ornstein are unfortunately resistant to lightning, but I haven't encountered anything else that can stand up to this thing.
