Grant is a Weapon in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered.
A legendary weapon of the Way of White, granted to an Undead paladin long ago.
This mass of iron can only be lifted by those with inhuman strength, but it is blessed, and very effective against agents of Dark."
How to Get / Where to Find the Grant
Drop: Paladin Leeroy in Tomb of Giants.
Notes and Hints
- Give to Frampt to receive 100 souls.
- The 2-handed strong attack of this hammer generates an AOE attack similar to the miracle Wrath of Gods, but with more range, damage and 100% chance of knockback (even against high poise targets, excluding bosses).
- Damage from this ability scales with Faith and strength.
- The AOE does exactly the same amount of damage as a two-handed jump attack. Except at 200 durability or less the AOE attack does the same amount of damage as the two-handed jump attack with 0 durability. Between 380 and 201 durability the two-handed jump attack still does full damage even though the AOE attack does not.
- The divine modifier also applies to the AOE attack, so unlike Wrath of the Gods it can be used to kill skeletons.
- Each use of this ability drains 200 durability.
- When using the AOE between 201 and 380 durability it will do about 3/5 of the maximum damage potential (depending of your stat distribution).
- When using the AOE at 200 durability or less, it will do around 1/3 of the maximum damage potential (depending on your stat distribution).
- If you try to use the ability at 0/600 durability it will not work at all, however, your character will still do the animation and be vulnerable to attack.
- Along with Sanctus, and the Crescent Axe, they are the 3 blessed weapons of the Way of White.
- Calculated by Reddit user JoeMomma to be 263 Kg/579 Lbs.

This weapon is great for Clerics, but it's complete bullshit that a Faith weapon requires 50 Strength to weird.

If you kill leeroy and he falls, leaving and coming back won’t make the weapon come back so your screwed

I'm running a NG+ Leeroy inspired character and this thing is awesome

What is the point getting this after catacombs? The only place that bleesed weapons are usefull are in the catacombs

Just for those who wonder : No you can't buff a grant with miracles / sorceries nor resins.
You'll have to rely on the scaling to get the most out of it

'Damage from this ability scales with Faith and strength'
So the AOE does both physical and magic damage?

From what I can tell, having 50 str and 30 Faith will give this weapon almost 800 AR. Combine that with Power Within and RSTR and I bet you could take out Nito in like 2 hits.

I've seen "best weapon in the game" on about 98% of these pages

Why dont leeroy drop it along with sanctus? I killed him with a zwi and he didnt drop the items. Is it a bug or something

Idk who would be able to fix it, but the left-most column of the upgrade table, where it shows the twinkling titanite symbol, says that it only takes 1 twinkling for each upgrade

Why not twohand a greatclub for faith/st builds if you have over 28st? Similar ar without split damage.

Is it supposed to look like a giant lit torch?
That's pretty cool in its own way.

Amazing weapon. If you have the stats to use it, this thing destroys everything.

Works well in tight spaces, but not corridors. Tried it in pvp at TOTG near where paladin leeroy spawns.

Is that the f****** Morne's great hammer from ds3 ? In that case it might be super powerful

One of my favourite weapons for a faith strength build, just get used to only two handing it, as 50 strength isn’t very viable. Other than that it’s great. Even at 40 strength And 30 faith you still get decent scaling two handing it. Btw it only takes 34 strength to 2 hand it, from what I remember. Either way I love doing a paladin leeroy cosplay and just wrecking everything with grant. Funny how even leeroy can’t one hand it, he can only two hand it. I guess even for our boy leeroy grant might be too heavy....

I thought this would be fun, but the wrath of god destroys its durability. I can only do it a few times. If i do it too many times and it breaks, i'm out of the fight and it costs 1200 to repair. I suppose i could use the wood grain ring, but in ds1, only 2 slots makes wearing that ring unacceptable.

how does it only have 200 durability when the aoe attack is said to do max damage at 600 durability?

When it says "Enchantable" do you mean like magic weapon or sunlight blade? Cause if so, holy f*ck that's powerful.
725 damage at 50/40
