Heal is a Miracle in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. To cast a miracle, you must use a Talisman or Special Weapons that can cast Miracles.
Elementary miracle cast by clerics. Restores HP.
To cast a miracle, the caster learns a tale of the Gods, and says a prayer to be blessed by its revelations.
Heal is the shortest of such miraculous tales.
Usage
- Can only be used to heal yourself, has no effect on allies.
- Heals a moderate amount of the casters HP, depending on Magic Adjustment.
- The amount of HP healed = Mag Adjust x 3

Its interesting how the original heal is better for full faith builds since it has more casts and still scales pretty well.

This may seem like a terrible thing to try to use mid combat, but actually, the animation will have you duck under some attacks. For instance, most of quelaag's sword swings can be safely healed through with this if you stand right up next to her. The double slash and then stab combo is probably the best time, because then you can react to the first slash by rolling towards her, heal, and then by the time the stab is finished you're almost done healing.
