****ing love this thing for pvp has high af damage so the hornet backstabs do insane damage and the r2 is good on wakeup ( even better when clanked into a wall ) would highly recommend this for pvpers. claymore has better moveset but this thing hits like a truck.
come to the township

Awesome two hands R1 that can be followed by a decently fast R2. Too bad its textures are messed up

R1 two hands is awesome, fast af and it can be followed by a decently fast R2. Too bad its textures are fked up from a certain angle

this sword looks swag af, kinda looks like the gravelord sword "curved greatsword", I like the carvings on it looks like it's enchanted, I also like it's scaling just pure strength, and it's moveset is like a cherry on the top of all.
Every page I go to about a strength weapon, I'm greeted with people saying "Oh this weapon is the best in the game" or "Oh this weapon is straight dogshit" or "Put it in my ass". We can all agree, the mace is the best weapon in the game. Even Santa Clause likes the mace.

this weapon is great but why cant i repair the weapon,?
dont understand, sory im newbie

this weapon looks so cool dude, i love how it has it's curved look but still has a greatsword moveset, it's a shame we don't have anything like this in later games of the series

using this on a 20 INT 28 STR build because i got it just before Sen's fortress, +7 buffed with magic weapon really does just delete enemies

I'm on NG+ and currently running a +5 Great Lord Greatsword, looking to swap it out with this since I have 37 STR and not being able to buff stuff is lame. I buy a ton of Charcoal Resins just for fashion, this would look awesome with a bunch of flames on it

what weapon should i use until i get to sens fortress so i can get myself the man-serpent greatsword?
- Anonymous
it's strenght scaling makes it better than black knight sword?

"yo bby wana polish my Man-serpent Greatsword... hehe" -Chosen Undead, year of our Sun Lord 1969

This thing in PvP crushes people with low poise, stunlocks them with ease

This weapon is biblical. It's the best STR weapon in the game. Get it to +10 and then use it with Sunlight Blade miracle and the Power Within pyromancy and you will crush every foe before you.

Doesn't seem to be able to go divine despite having divine ember and having it at +10 and another at +15

I'm running a quality build (with strength a bit higher than Dex not by too far) and I was wondering should I use this one or the flamberge?
- Anonymous
This weapon dropped from the very first man-serpent I killed in sen's fortress, lmao

The only thing that bothers me, the wiki here says it can deal thrust dmg but it doesn't.

This has always been one of my favorite weapons since the original DS1 because it's really powerful and doesn't have split damage. If you level it to +15 it has an A rank in strength making it one of the strongest weapons, especially if you can get your strength stat to 40 or above. The move set is great for taking out mobs and baddies in pve, however, it's not the best weapon for pvp because its move set is very repetitious and predictable. If you DO connect though in pvp, you'll do a ton of damage.

Really dig this weapon and plus 10 think I will make 15 but it kills pvp and pve nicely. Wondering if Crystal might be viable
the catacombs were a breeze with this thing divine +5 in my faith build
