tip for my one-shot dudes out there, if you pair the sanctus shield while having 10 vit + being cursed + dusk ring, the hp loss of this pyro gets nullified by the regen of the shield!

I have 40/40/50 on my str/dex/faith. My zweihander +15 with darkmoon blade has more than 1000 AR. So if i also use this, i would practically have 1400 AR which is quite impressive

Why is the icon for the buff a blue shield with an arrow pointing up? That icon implies you have better armor or better blocking, but the buff basically does the opposite; it makes you more fragile.

At 35 Vitality and Ring of FaP I have 1459 hp. Power Within ticks 14hp per second. Leaving me at 73/1459 hp at the end of the duration.

However, with the Lingering dragoncrest ring, the hp drain was the same at 14hp but I ended up with 59/1459 hp at the end of the duration. While the dragoncrest ring will boost it's duration and tick slightly slower, it can also tick one time extra.

fantastic spell in PvE, I use it to demolish bosses by casting it before crossing the fog or shortly after, depending on the situation it might not be worth it. keep in mind it drains 1% hp during 100 seconds so having at least 1 estus is a must. against certain foes the health drain might not be worth it, especially things like dark or silver knighs or giant guards against whom the fights might take a while.

Definitely the best pve spell in the game (ok maybe second to dark beads) because it can fit on any build and buff any damage. It is more dangerous in pvp though, because players will take advantage of the health drain

I have done testing on PW's affect on weapon buffs and I found that at least on DSR on the Nintendo Switch (I have it on console, but I do testing on Switch) Power Within does affect weapon buffs including, the magic weapons, the blade buffs, and the resins. This is because Power Within doesn't affect AR at all, it increases the damage you do with your attack by 40%. I used a +0 Broken Washing Pole and Sunlight Blade, then both with and without Power Within, and while the base damage was around 10 without buffs the difference between w/ and w/out Power Within was around 100 damage, leaving the only explanation to be that Power Within affects weapon buffs.

You cannot safely use it with Red Tearstone Ring, or this could just be a remaster thing. Red Tearstone Ring is percentage based.

If you have an account that’s higher than NG++ then you need this spell. I’m on NG++++ and this spell helps kill the bosses a lot quicker

Pretty busted pyromancy, I've been using this with my Strength build and i mostly use this as "Melt bosses before they can blink" spell, or as "Finish off tough bosses before they react" spell.

It says that it will not work with personal buffs and I just realized that it includes transient curse. I was going to the 4 kings and had the curse active for the ghosts and power within will not show active until the buff expires.

Power within not working. Andcyes I tried to attack an enemy, no damage differences. And I don't have anything equipped with buffs. I've tried pwi on two different characters, same issue.

I use a chaos zweihander and power within. I only have 16 str and 10 dex and I do 800 to 850 dmg per swing. This is actually busted.

Best pyromancy in the game. On a STR build I used the Man Serpent Greatsword at 40 STR, 30 FTH for Sunlight Blade, and then Power Within. I saved this combo for boss fights. Even at just +10 I was doing insane amounts of damage. It's a great build for taking out the Four Kings quickly. At +15 MSGS nothing could stand in my way. I dominated everything and everyone I came across. I really felt like a king or a deity.

I play in the PC the remastered one, and when u are to die to the boss, just close the game. When u come back, u are with all flask in front of the fogs door. But, the power within cant be cast again, u need to teleport to the bonfire or die.

Great for soul farming allows for almost permanent running and 40% dmg boost allows for overkills which net 20% more souls
