Reinforced Club is a Weapon in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered.
A club with leather nailed to the pommel. The burg Undead merchant proudly peddles this club, but its reinforcement is shoddy. Indeed, its attack is stronger, but the club is no longer dependably sturdy."
How to Get / Where to Find the Reinforced Club
- Sold by the Undead merchant (male).
Notes
- Give to Frampt to receive 50 souls.
- One of the hardest hitting very low requirement weapons there is, but it's annoyingly slow to recover from a miss. Very good at crushing shield wielders and it's R2 attack is a leaping smash which is good for closing distances, but do not use when standing close to a non-giant enemy as you will most likely jump past them.
- One of the best early weapons because of its small requirements and strong attacks. Bleeding is very useful too, so you can easily beat stronger enemies.
- Bleed build up is 30 per strike, and once inflicted will tear 30% of the opponents HP.

club is a good shieldbreaker great for those annoying spear hollows

This weapon has been a lifesaver for my low level sorcerer build, especially against the four kings and also Seath.
Remember guys:
Reinforce this with chaos if you are at sl1,not lightning.
You already have giant blacksmith hammer(you monster) and that's a lot of lightning (damage)
Pyromancy also has fire damage but you have only 2 slots and they'll run out. So keep the chaos club there,or fire if you fear the loss of humanity and sanity.

it's a shame how this is a much better version of the morning star in every way (except in how early you can get), when the morning star looks way cooler than a baseball bat with barbed wire wrapped around it.
Damage is super similar to the mace but has a different light attack and trades an actual heavy attack for bleed.

40 endurance and you can wear this, dark hand(as shield), sack and have the fastest possible roll in the game. Equip Lingering Dragoncrest Ring(so you can pretty much have constant power within on) and Wolf Ring for poise, then buff this badboy with Sunlight Blade...and you destroy everything in this game in all NG+ cycles while looking like an absolute maniac...it's freaking ridiculous and i love it.

the sl1 swag machine
even on a strength build this does more damage than the regular club too

The moveset and bleed dmg on this beast is God tier. At 350 souls (from the 1st merchant of the game, no less) it's an absolute robbery. I've brought the toughest bosses in the game literally to their knees with this death hammer. Who would've thought that an ancient dragon, an abyss-walker and the Lord of Sunlight could all be brought to grief by way of a nail-studded hunk of wood? One thing’s for sure: Someone on the From staff had a bad encounter with a barbed wire baseball bat and never forgot about it.

This is the weapon I used to defeat Kalameet, including the tail cut, at SL8. I will admit that the moveset is not the best, and the range is pretty small, but the damage is insane; especially while buffed.

Finished the game (all bosses + DLC) only using this beauty. No armor, rings and shields - just this wonderful piece of wooden bonk.

Hmmm Crystal +4 = 252, +5 = 161... Something tells me that something went wrong here.

Is it good for a cleric? My next build will be cleric, I wonder if it's a good choice.

Don't underestimate this little prickly bonk. A reliable very effective weapon for strength-oriented builds and can be obtained right at the start of the game. This weapon has served me well, especially against armored opponents. I prefer the normal path as an upgrade so I can buff it with fire / lightning / magic / poison. By the way, in my experience, the 2H R2 jump attack can hardly be parried by any opponent. Praise the Bonk!

i just finish ds & ds3 with this weapon. In ds 1, it's slower than in ds3 but still great for strength build. This is really great weap, simple and ez to get, but need to care about range

The best weapon is a club you can buy in the first area. What a great video game

Removes the tedium from fighting the Stray Demon early on with that bleed bonus. Not nearly as efficient as the bandit knife for this purpose but a serviceable backup if you don’t have 12 dex. Also any class can use it two handed.

If intelligence and dexterity are not your thing, the club still remains as the ultimate killer argument.
Easily my favorite early weapon, and my usual go-to for Divine reinforcement because it breaks those skeletons so hard (a 2-handed R2 will break down even a giant one and give you ample time for a follow-up). I don't recommend it for more dedicated Strength builds, but it can easily carry your butt through most of the early game.

I love this thing. Guaranteed jump attacks, bleed, infusable, breaks shields, great damage to weight ratio, and not too slow granted you don't miss. If you know what you're doing this thing is the ol' reliable for those either low strength or middling on most stats.

Moveset is pretty boring and not very versatile, but good damage, low reqs, and bleed make it a must-have for SL1 runs. Also just generally a powerful weapon to start off with for strength builds.

how the hell is this better than the morning star its barbed wire on a stick
- Anonymous
One of the best weapon if you want to do a low SL run : bleeding bild up, high damage when infused, blunt damage.
- Anonymous
Nah, don’t like it, half the time i feel like my hits aren’t connecting when they should b in pvp, its as if range is almost non existent with this weapon bit of a shame tbh! :/

Way better than that sh*tty piece of metal attached 2 a pole called the mace, imo!
