Ring of Steel Protection
This ring belonged to the Knight King Rendal. It grants its wearer protection by boosting defense against physical attacks. Of the many legends surrounding the Knight King Rendal, one of the more well-known speaks of his standing down a giant drake and slashing it to pieces.

Ring of Steel Protection is a Ring in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. Players can equip up to 2 Rings, but equipping two of the same item is not possible.

Effects

• Increases physical defense by 50 points.

Location

• Sen's Fortress at the top of the first rolling boulder area. A Serpent Mage is standing in the entrance, and the ring is in a chest behind him.

Application

• This ring is a great way to improve your odds of surviving a physical attack, but this ring, as well as it's brethren, are enemy specific however this is much more universal as all enemies deal physical damage in some way.  
•  A great Ring for all builds and armor varieties due to it solidly increasing defense.
