Thunder Stoneplate Ring is a Ring in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. Players can equip up to 2 Rings, but equipping two of the same item is not possible.

- Increases lightning defense by 50 points.

- Sold by Crestfallen Merchant in Sen's Fortress for 15,000 souls.
Application
- This ring is a great way to improve your odds of surviving a lightning-based attack, but this ring, as well as it's brethren, are enemy specific and generally not recommended to wear consistently. Thunder is a very rare form of damage in PvE, so this ring is usually a wasted slot.

Is it really all that rare a damage type in PvE? Seems to me, everything that murders me does so because it does lightning damage and I have very little in the way of options to defend against lightning.
