Dusk crown, dingy robe, wanderer manchette and boots. Good choice for go light and looks cool.

I’ve always been the biggest fan of dusk crown, xanthous coat and crimson waistcloth. It looks absolutely hideous, but my go-to for sorcery builds, which I tend to prefer. But my stats are always intel, attune, dex, and strength focused. Hell, I usually don’t even go above 18 or so vit and end until late game

This really is my go to in almost every playthrough. It’s just the perfect set for the adventure especially when you can’t warp till later in the game. I can’t speak for DS2 as they brought it back but the only reason I can think of as to why it didn’t return in DS3 is simply that, the game is less of an adventure while your constantly warping around from the start which defeats the purpose of this set

Pretty cool set honestly. No idea why it's the only starter set left out of DS3.

This has better phys. defense than Pyromancer robes, worse elemental resistance, better lightning resistance, and significantly worse status resistance. The aesthetic is pretty similar, and this set is slightly heavier.

My favorite set in the entire Souls series. They really should've brought this over to DS3 :(

The weight icon needs to be replaced with the durability icon on this page.
There are serious calculation problems within the table as of 6.23.2018 (the sums are inaccurate: see the fire, strike, and slash columns), and as for outside the columns, the rounding of decimals from the in-game numbers (besides the weight) for this listing causes further inaccuracies. This percolate up to the listings on other pages - I suspect some of the other less-popular armor sets may have the same problem. I'm fixing the values on this page as we speak, but others may want to double check pages, especially ones where there are no decimals recorded within the defense cells.

Afted doing some math across all armor sets in the game.
Cross referencing via how many units of overall physical defense is offered per unit of weight.
This set has the highest pbysical defence per point of weight in the emtire game, followed by the thief set.
each at approximately 16 points of physical defence per unit of weight when maxed out.
In comparison. One of the most well rounded armors in the game. (The elite knight set.) Offers aroumd 8.5 physical defemce per unit of weight when maxxed out... Over half as inefficient.
This makes blThe wamderer amd Bandoit sets point for point the best armor to weight ratio sets in the game being especially excellent moreso for builds that do not have high endurance or the desire to equip havels ring.
In addition to each offerring better resistance to poison/bleed than heavier sets. With the Bandits set offerring almost twice as much of this resistamce as the wamderers set.
The wamderers set however boasts more elemental defence in turn.
