Rings are accessories in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered that provide various bonuses when equipped. Players can equip up to 2 Rings, but equipping two of the same item is not possible. It is possible to stack similar effects, such as combining Stamina regeneration between a ring and the Green Blossom consumable.
The Dark Souls Remaster version includes the DLC Artorias of the Abyss equipment as part of the base game.

AnonymousHavel and FaP are only ring combination that allows at 40 END wear some heavier armor and midroll or some medium armor and fastroll.
Without them you will end up with light clothes or dragon form and Wolf ring to reduce lack of poise.
If you good and know enemy moveset perfectly you can forget about 3 rings metioned above and run with no poise and light def but on NG+ and beyond it usually means being one-shot by stronger bosses so there is little place for mistakes.

It’s easy, anyone who’s ever worn a regular ring not an extravagant ring like in the game knows that a ring changes how you grab, hold and grip things. Now be dexterous and agile with 5 bulky rings swinging your parry knife, or two hand a great sword with 10 rolling, twisting rings making you so Uber strong but unable to effectively grip your weapon rendering you as useless as a dung pile.
