Sunlight Medal

2035

This faintly warm medal, engraved with the symbol of the Sun, is the ultimate honour, awarded to show <those> who summon the Warrior of Sunlight and complete a goal.
The symbol represents Lord Gwyn's firstborn, who lost his deity status and was expunged from the annals. But the old God of War still watches closely over his warriors.

Sunlight Medal is a Multiplayer Item in Dark Souls.

Sunlight Medal Usage

How to obtain Sunlight Medal:

  • Talk to Lautrec after you save him, and you will receive 1 medal.
  • Invite Solaire to defeat a boss with you and make sure he lives until the end. (you must be in human form to summon phantoms)
  • Summon a member of the Warrior of Sunlight covenant and beat the boss with that player. (you must be in human form to do this)
  • Be a member of the Warrior of Sunlight and beat a boss with the host in co-op.
  • Loot 3 Sunlight Medals from a chest guarded by a spear-wielding Silver Knight in the room opposite the first bonfire in the castle of Anor Londo.
  • Rare drops from Chaos Bug (3% Chance - Demon Ruins or Lost Izalith)

Fastest way to do this was just stay at level 11 and help out the noobs with bell gargoyles. Was about to get 10 in about 3 hours.

Yes your convenant contributions persist into ng+ and your covenant progress isn't reset on ng+. As long as you don't leave, abandon or betray your covenant in any way you can donate any amount of sunlight medals on ng, beat the game and pay the remainder in ng+. This is true for all covenants with ranks.

Hi. I would like to know if I have offered 5 medals in my first game, do I need another 5 medals in NG+? Or do I need to give 10 medals in one go?

If you’re playing the original unpatched version of this game, don’t bother trying to farm these from the chaos bugs.

            You have to patch.

Can anyone please tell me whether or not these drop in the original unpatched 360 version?

I feel like I’ve made way too many runs for having zero drop and I’d rather not keep wasting my time.

Wish you could give these away in DS2. I'm done with the covenant rewards and I got 76 now I got no idea what to do with lmao

You can also get these from PVP combat, invading people as a sunlight darkspirit. Defeating the host rewards one medal.

I hate these stupid medals!!! I just want 10 and I gotta play the WORST part of the game to get them. The stupid ass online! I HATE ONLINE DARK SOULS!!! Waiting 8 weeks for a summon. Getting invaded and dying EVERY TIME (gotta love getting hit by someones sword from 8ft away as if I needed to be beat down any harder). **** off invaders for 2 seconds so I can get 10 sunlight medals and never unhollow ever again.

Sat at Drangelic Castle for about 8 hours and got all the summons I needed. About 1 every 15-30 min, sometimes more frequent. SM: 5.6 million. On PS4. PRAISE THE SUN
