Gauntlets of Thorns is a Gauntlets in Dark Souls. It is part of Thorns Set.

Gauntlets of Thorns Description

"Gauntlets of Kirk, knight of Thorns and notorious member of the Darkwraiths. A dense patch of thorns grows from their surface. They are a fitting item for the murderous Kirk, for by simply wearing them and rolling, one can damage enemies."

Where to Find \ Location

• Same place where The Fair Lady is. To spawn the armor set you need to defeat Kirk, Knight of Thorns in 3 places: Depths, Demon Ruins, Lost Izalith

Notes

• Upgraded with: Twinkling Titanite
• Part of the Thorns Set. Pieces include Helm of Thorns, Armor of Thorns, Gauntlets of Thorns and Leggings of Thorns.
• Increases physical AR by 20 for rolls and punches. This includes bare fist's, several Fist Weapons', Talisman's, and Pyromancy Flame's punching attacks. Damage increase doesn't apply to critical damage or jumping attacks, including plunging attacks.
  • None of these damages are increased by Power Within or Red Tearstone Ring. For example an attack with a fist weapon may deal 300 Damage, with the 20 AR of Thorns that might increase to 318 Damage, a difference of 18 Damage. The Red Tearstone Ring would then increase the regular Damage of 300 to 550, then add the 18 Difference, giving 568 total Damage.
  • The amount of AR added is independent of the upgrade level.
