Titanite Catch Pole is a Weapon in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered.

Weapon of the titanite demon, a faceless stone monster born from titanite slab.
One of the enchanted weapons, perhaps from residual power of the titanite slab.
Known for its leaping attack which comes smashing down on foes from above."

How to Get / Where to Find the Titanite Catch Pole

Notes

  • Titanite Catch Pole can be upgraded by using Twinkling Titanite.
  • Can be given to Kingseeker Frampt to receive 100 Souls.
  • This weapon's heavy attack is a unique jumping attack, being the same jumping strike the Titanite Demon uses.
  • It is possible to acquire one right from the beginning in Undead Parish. If you do get it, it becomes a potent early game caster weapon due to its good weight, considerably low stat requirements (and no Intellect requirement), decent scaling on all attributes, and PhysicalMagic damage spread.

Lore

  • Titanite Demons may be part of an overarching theme that links Demons and Dragons to minerals.

This weapon is perfect for farming skelly babies in TOG. Perfectly vertical swing that connect all the way to the haft along with a follow-up low horizontal swing to finish the job.

I didn't realize this was such a rare weapon until i hit blighttown... got it first try. I had been using drake sword up until then LOL. Literally does double the damage even completely un-upgraded

My pvp character is level 49. 16 str, 20 dex, 20 int. Damage gain up to 20 +3. 251 intelligence 233 physics. My favorite weapon in DS1

Seems very good in pvp for juking. You can initiate the R2 and switch directions, or lure someone around a corner. Kind of like just using any gs in ds3 and using a light swing while turning to catch people chasing you or using the godawful crow talons around a corner.

Came back to the remaster after several years and didn't even know this or vagrants existed. Got this from the demon next to Andre and found 2 vagrants in the first 4hrs so crazy luck and fun melting the early game with this.

If this drops in parish, kinda feels like cheating. Around 400 split dmg at +3 gonna kill gargoyles, capra, hellkite bride wyvern and other bigger enemies in few hits. Low stamina consumption for dmg and big range

Huh...I'm playing through DS1 for the first time in a long time after years with the rest of the series and this ended up dropping from the very first Titanite Demon by Andre. Wasn't trying to get this or anything, but since I got such a rare drop, I wonder if I should invest in upgrading it.

Great weapon that carried me on one of my earliest playthroughs, but good luck finding one of these things

This weapon moveset video(as many others on this wiki) is PRIVATE. What is the point of linking private videos in a "public" page?

Getting hit with this while wearing the Dusk Crown Ring is bad. I got 1-shotted by a Titanite Demon twice before I remembered I was wearing the Crown and the Pole does magic damage,

Will this weapon perform well if you only invest in 2 of the 3 stats that scale with this, for instance will this weapon work on a str int build, or a dex int build?

                          • Anonymous

It's a very underrated PvE weapon, maybe because it is not easy to acquire. If you do get lucky and pick it up from the first Titanite Demon then for only 11 str (two handed) and 14 dex you get a weapon that out damages weapons that weigh a lot more. Considering that you could have easily acquired 4 twinkling titanite before you even pick it up, the damage potential is even greater. It devastates enemies (including bosses) in the early to mid stages of the game.
PvP is a different story. it has a limited move set and wide slow swings that make it easy to parry.

I assume that this is based on the real-life Man Catcher, an esoteric pole weapon used to grab people and drag them.

Riposite monster weapon! For example: BKGA Riposite 862 dmg at 40 str 30 dex. Same stats with Catch Pole 882 Riposite. Tested on black knights before last boss. Looks ugly maybe but hits like truck

I’m looking at the item in-game and it says the required parameters are 16 Strength and 14 Dexterity, not 10 - 10.
