Giant Blacksmith is a Character in Dark Souls. He sells unique weapon upgrades, ammunitions and armor.
Location
- The Giant Blacksmith is located in Anor Londo.
- From the second bonfire you encounter in the area, proceed up a few flight of stairs until you pass the room with the mounted boar head. Find the bedroom and continue through. You will find spiral stairs leading up to the roof. There you will head towards the Silver Knight located near the center of the roof. It will lead to another spiral staircase, where later you will continue to run up the flight of stairs to find the inside of the giant door that was being guarded by the two Giant Knights. Across from you, there will be another set of stairs. Once you make it across, you have two choices:
- Continue forward toward the stained glass windows to find a broken one to exit. Jump down and avoid/fight the Bat Wing Demons and you'll find the Giant Blacksmith.
- Alternatively, you can go towards the stairs leading down towards the floor level and there will be a path just to the left of the stairs which will lead you straight to the Blacksmith avoiding any confrontation with the demons. (These stairs should be located on the right wall once you make it across to the other set of stairs).

Page kinda implies that the Hawk ring is a drop... you can grab that without being a scumbag.

What a cute npc. Real gentle giant. You expect someone of his physics to make a big smashes on the anvil but instead he does these subtle "pat pats". If that's not the cutest thing I dunno what is.

"Talk, 'tis no good. No one home. Everyone gone.
But you, friend. You talk. I no talk, but happy."
please fromsoft I just need an official in-house remake with a "hug the giant" option. I will never ask for anything or complain about balance ever again.

you dont need to kill him to get the chest behind him, you can walk behind him and open it from the side

He says he got his “shiny-shiny” (presumably meaning his lightning ember) from the Duke. If this means Seath, why would he have a lightning ember in the first place, never mind give one away?

who in the HELL would kill this bloody cinnamon roll? all he wants is to forge weapons and take your crystal ember from you. and on top of MORAL reasons he also sells arguably the best heavy set in the game and a pretty amazing shield PLUS hes the only vendor to sell Twinkling titanite which is ESSENTIAL to rolling basically any heavy armor that can be upgraded or BKW

Would it have killed anyone at From Software if they could buy Titanite Slabs? Even if they cost 100K souls each, that would still be better than the hours of grind at the Darkwraiths.
