Builds for Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered refers to player-created combinations of Classes, Stats and Equipment & Magic that are optimized for specific in-game objectives. Since these builds are created by players, there's a variance of playstyles and opinions to take into account, so make sure to investigate the suggested weapons and approach to the game before you commit to a specific build.

I haven't tried this one but...
THE HELPFUL PALADIN
This build is focused on putting down a summon sign to help many people with beating bosses, or helping players survive in high-traffic PvP areas.
Starting class: Knight
Covenant: Princess Guard
EQUIPMENT
Armor: pretty much any heavy armor. You want to tank hits for support.
RH1: Any buffable str weapons will do.
RH2: Channeler's Trident. Two-hand this to use the special.
LH1- Darkmoon Talisman.
RH1- Any tower shield will do.
Ring 1- Ring of Sun's firstborn.
Ring 2- Wolf Ring (or any other, but I feel that this is a good choice. Maybe use White or Darkmoon seance rings.)
MIRACLES
-Any heal miracle
-WOTG
-Soothing Sunlight
-Bountiful Sunlight
-Great Magic Barrier
-Lightning Weapon
-Any more you might want. Again, I haven't tried this.
PROGRESSION
Try leveling up strength, vitality, faith, and endurance. Talk to Petrus and buy all of his miracles. Proceed through the game as normal, while upgrading str, vit, fth, and end. Once you reach Anor Londo, join the Darkmoon blades and do a little bit of police work. Once you reach 10 souvenirs, claim the Darkmoon Talisman, and leave. Now, join the Princess Guard for the miracles. Once you place the Lordvessel, go for the Tomb of Giants, and free Reah. Then go to the Duke's Archives, and be imprisoned by Seath. Then, kill the Piscasas to get Soothing and Bountiful Sunlight. Also, farm the Channelers for their Trident. Then proceed through the game as normal.
PLAYSTYLE
When you're helping others fight bosses, act like Any good tank and absorb damage. Use the Princess Guard miracles to then heal and revitalize your party. Also, don't forget to boost the party by using the Channeler's Trident. For PvP, use your tower shield to absorb attacks, and use WOTG to shove phantoms away from harming your teammates. Again, don't forget to use the Trident! And, use lightning blade.
Again, this is a build that I'll do later that I thought of recently. See you later, and PRAISE THE SUN!

Why are builds even a thing? Why not just raise each stat to 50 or higher? SMH... Bring on the hate.
