"Severed head of the fully-armored Fang Boar taken by the one who killed it as proof of his victory, just as the Gods once did with the head of the ancient dragon. Can be worn on the head as a surprisingly sound piece of protective gear."

- Uncommon (20%) drop from Fang Boars.
Notes
- Fang Boar Helm can be upgraded by using Twinkling Titanite.
- Can be given to Kingseeker Frampt to receive 1000 Souls.
- This helmet reduces Stamina regeneration by 1 per second.

Pro tip: If you are on PC, look under Documents\NBGI\DARK SOULS REMASTERED and backup your savedata! Then beat Boar! If he doesn't drop, exit the game and restore your savedata! Got a helmet on my second attempt! BEST FASHION SOULS!!!

best headgear in the game, purely because of how it looks.
my weight limit and stamina regen can suffer all they like. i am boar, and so i am the strongest entity in lordran. you can't tell me otherwise.
What the absolute Abyss is my luck... On my most recent character I got all three angry boars to drop a helm (and the first one was with NO soft Humanity because I was hoarding it to give the Fair Lady later). What on earth are the odds of that happening??

Just got mine now and aside from looking cool, it’s kinda... bad. Not stat wise, just too big to see around. If you walk into a corridor a good 1-2/4th of your screen is boars head... :/

upgrading to full will probably make it better than stone helm. However havels helm makes me look like goblin slayer and i know it is in all 3 dark souls. I am quite sure I killed the first pig with my friends and they raged when I got it because it was the best at that point until havels set.

Is there, like, any reason to use this over, say, the Stone Helm, which has better stats across the board for 2.2 less weight? I really like this helmet on my character, but I don't see any logical reason to be wearing it over the Stone Helm, which is frankly ugly af.

I don't think it's possible to get it if you kill it while you have a summon.
i miss this thing in later games... hope it makes a comeback someday.
