Poison Mist is a Pyromancy in Dark Souls. To cast a pyromancy, you must use a Flame or Special Weapons that can cast Pyromancies.
Unique pyromancy crafted by Eingyi, considered a heretic even at the Great Swamp. Create poison mist.
Eingyi became an egg-bearing Undead who serves a deformed young girl who speaks an untelligible tongue.
Usage

- Breathes out a cone of poison mist that fills the surrounding area causing poison status.

- Swamp in Blighttown
- Eingyi, the Egg-burdened npc near the Daughter of Chaos. You must speak to Eingyi while having an Egg for a head at least once in order for this pyromancy to be available for purchase.

Notes
- Poison Mist has a status value of about 225, and will drain 3.75 HP/s for 180 seconds.
- The upgrade level of the pyromancy glove will not affect the power and duration.
- Does not affect caster and allies.
- Best used on groups of enemies.

Kind of strange considering pyromancy come from the flame of "life".

A good thing to know is Poison Mist and Toxic Mist do NOT aggro the target. Sneak up behind and enemy then use these Pyromancies and then fight something else nearby. By the time you finish the other enemies the poisoned victim is either severely weakened or dead.
The animation does make you move forward a little, so you may move into aggro range this way, so be careful.

Very useful to pick up both copies as a Sorcerer / Pyromancer on your 1st run through Blighttown, so you can rush to Painted World and farm Phalanx with Poison Mist and Toxic Mist.
