WEAPONS UPGRADE STATS WORKSHEET VERSION 2.0

If you've been here before Ver. 2.0, take note of these changes:
  • The table system has been reversed. Rather than remove the X in the box, you will now place it in the box you completed instead.
  • The Raw upgrade path has been removed, since it has been brought to my attention that it does not, in fact, require a slab to reach the last level (derp!).

Now that that's out of the way, if this is your first visit here, read on for instructions!

Since there's only so many slabs available in one playthrough, knowing your weapons stats without one would be important. Also, since the Chaos upgrade is considered an elemental one, rather than scaling, it would be useful to know its maxed out stats when comparing to Lightning and Fire upgrades. But adding all this info is a lot of work, so we'll need help from the community to get it done. The purpose of this page is to keep track of what's done and what's left to do. Below, you'll find the table that keeps track of this progress.

All the weapons are listed in the table. If the box is checked, it's been done; if there's no "x", it's yours to add! N/A means path not available for this weapon.

The upgrade paths are abbreviated, otherwise the table would be too wide. These are the abbreviations:

Regular +14 = RE14
Crystal +4 = CR04
Lightning +4 = LI04
Magic +9 = MA09
Enchanted +4 = EN04
Divine +9 = DI09
Occult +4 = OC04
Fire +9 = FI09
Chaos +4 = C400
Chaos +4 @10 Humanity = C410
Chaos +5 @10 Humanity = C510

INSTRUCTIONS

In the table bellow, find the weapon who's stats you collected, and follow the link to its page. Once there, find the "Edit" button in the top right corner. Go to the table and click on the last upgrade cell for the path you have the information (example: Regular +15, if you want to add the information for Regular +14) and you'll notice a little box will appear. Click on this box and select "row", "add row", "add row above". Now start filling out the information! For the formatting, simply click on the cell, select "this cell", and click on "make header".

Notes:
  • You've noticed that damage for each type is listed, in game, as ### +##. The +## is bonus damage you get from scaling stats. Since that bonus is dependent on your own stats, we don't include it in the wiki. So simply list the base damage ### and the scaling stat letters (addendum: with the exception of the Chaos @10 Humanities upgrades, obviously, since that's the point of that row! For these, add up the ### and +## and write that number down).
  • To keep the tables from becoming too big and unfriendly, we're trying to list only the most relevant information. So when adding weapon stats, don't add every single upgrade level! Instead, stick to the first level, every 5, and the second to last. Examples: Regular, Regular +5, Regular +10, Regular +14, and Regular +15; Crystal, Crystal +4, Crystal +5; etc.

Important Notes:
  • Please be sure to add your information to the page, and not remove any current information on there.
  • While you're there, be kind and make sure the present information is up to date! Some of it may have changed post-patch. If your numbers do not match those already on the wiki, and you're sure of the accuracy of your data (you should be, you collected it yourself!), then you can go ahead and update the obsolete numbers. If you're unsure, then you can do one of two things:
    • Go through the page's modifications history and check when the numbers are from and who edited them. If they're pre-1.05 (November 22, 2011), yours are probably the right ones now. If they're recent, you could try and send a message to the person who entered them and figure out where the error originated from. Or:
    • Notify us in the discussion forum (further info on that right bellow) and we'll check the history for you.

Once that's done, come back to this page and click Edit. Go to the table, and add an "x" in the box corresponding to the weapon and upgrade you updated. If you've modified information on a weapon and in the table, and are unsure you did it correctly, don't worry, just let us know in the following forum thread and we'll check after you:

Upgrading Tips:
  • If you want to collect data for a certain upgrade level, you only need to upgrade it to the level before it (example: +4 if you want +5) and, in the upgrade menu, you'll be able to see its stats for the next level.
  • You can "recycle" titanite chunks. This is handy if you are only interested in upgrading for the sake of collecting data. Simply upgrade the weapon, note its stats, and exit Dark Souls. When you load the game again, it will not have auto-saved you using those titanite chunks, the weapon will not be upgraded anymore, and you can use those chunks on another weapon. For this to work, you must exit Dark Souls without exiting the upgrade menu, as that is when the game would auto-save.

That's it! Thanks, and happy upgrading/ editing!

(By the way, if you're undecided about which upgrade to provide information for next, please start with Crystal +4 and the Chaos @ 10 Humanities ones, as I really consider these the most important right now. Edit: my apologies, while I was writing this it slipped my mind that, once you go crystal, you can't go back. So do crystal on weapons you don't mind losing on that path.)
