Unique Upgrades are performed by any Blacksmith or by using the Weapon Smithbox.
Regular Reinforcement Scales 4% for Strength and 60% for Dexterity to increase your AR.
To reach max, you need: 10,000 souls and 10

This with Demon's Spear and Moonlight Butterfly Horn are 3 best and worth use spears. Other are either useless or have some fancy uses in specific situations.

Great weapon to have for the Gravelord Nito fight if the skeletons are being a menace. Since they have no associated Necromancer (or maybe Nito is like one for them, I don't know), the only way to get rid of them is a divine weapon and this has no faith requirement.

Is it possible to upgrade this weapon all the way to 10+ with very large divine ember or is it capped at 5+?

This is my 2nd play-through and I managed to get this on my way to Smoung and Ornstein. Holy crap, this things shreds through the catacombs.

Extremely good. There are longer spears (The demons spear is the longest, followed by the butterfly horn) but this seems to be the best pure dex spear... You really don't get much strength scaling off it. One handed the AR difference between minimum (16 strength) and the the hard cap is 7. Two handed you get a whole whopping 1 more AR for a total of 8.
On rare occasions Silver Knight Spear does not prevent Skeletons from coming back. I believe it's from the Counter bonus damage killing it before the Modifier could register it's effect. Further testing required. (Killed one of two in Catacombs, just after the last Bridge. Didn't notice him revive until he knocked me off the cliff to my death. Took a 30s capture to confirm S.K.S did kill him first.)

The spear is not enchantabe. It is still a very good weapon that can be used for the late game and decent dex weapon for pvp. It is outclassed by the great scythe.

I like this weapon alot, but I'm trying to understand how it can compete with dex scaling, +15 double buffed weapons.

It says enchantable yet ive gotten the silver knight spear to +5 and i cant enchant it at any blacksmith?

Got so excited when seeing this in the hands of DkS3 Silver knights, farmed it for a couple of hours and was devastated to finally find out it is not a drop in that game... ;_;
Just noticed that the 2h r2 is Nameless King's thrust attack.
