Channeler's Trident is a Weapon in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered.

Trident of the Six-eyed Channelers, sorcerers who serve Seath the Scaleless in collecting human specimens. Thrusted in circular motions in a unique martial arts dance that stirs nearby allies into a bloodthirsty frenzy.

How to Get / Where to Find the Channeler's Trident

Drops from the Channeler (1% Chance - Undead Parish, Depths and The Duke's Archives)

Notes:

  • Give to Frampt to receive 1 soul.
  • The two-handed heavy attack of the trident increases the attack power of allies (i.e. real or NPC phantoms, enemy characters in an invaded world) by 40%
This is a useful weapon before a boss fight when you have summoned Phantoms into your world or to give yourself some breathing room during an invasion.
  • The duration of the 'channelers dance' buff lasts for 20 seconds.
  • The durability also deteriorates fast (80 points per use) when using the special attack, and after three uses the weapon breaks.
  • Boosts AR by 40% to all allies within area of effect. Buff power does not increase as weapon is upgraded.
  • Once the weapon's durability has reached zero, you can still use the R2 to get the "dance" animation but you won't receive the buff.

Farming

Warp to the Duke's Archives bonfire, and make sure the stairs are turned so that you can reach the second Channeler (on the top level in the bonfire room). There are 2 ways, both are equally viable :

  • From the bonfire, go to the central stairway and take the left turn, then take the wooden stairs to the 2nd floor (You'll have to kill on the wooden stairs to get past him faster). Go left, kill the 1st channeler, then take the moving stairs and kill the 2nd channeler. Homeward Bone and repeat. (50 seconds per run)
  • Start from to the prison cell bonfire. Run to the ladder, across the balcony and into the Archives. Kill the 1st channeler, then take the moving stairs and kill the 2nd channeler. Homeward Bone and repeat..(55 seconds per run)

Is this a good spear for an int build? Or is it just vastly outclassed by the moonlight butterfly horn or even just any of the other enchanted spears?

Yo, so if anyone could drop this or trade it for all my materials then that'd be great. Trying to get Knight's Honor and this one is a bitch to get.

          My Level is 107.
We can meet up at the fog gate right outside Bed of Chaos.
If you don't want the materials I can pop in a fire keepers soul and/or five rings of your choice instead.

          PSN: Coconut_of_Doom.
Message me when you friend me so I know who you are. I am fickle with random friend requests.

          Thanks! :)

The drop rate for this is weapon is atrocious. With 410 item discovery I had to kill 76 Channelers before it popped. Now, I know that it can be fickle and someone will probably come along and say they got it on the first kill... well good for you then. The droprate is a game of probability and statistics -- but "averagely" speaking, this item is a b*tch to get.

The "chant" appears to buff enemies even if you don't meet the requirements to use the weapon. As a base level cleric I was able to buff the NPC before the fight with Pinwheel. The NPC showed the "buff" smoke and killed Pinwheel in about 3 shots (difficult to count, it was pretty fast). This was the first time I'd ever seen the trident drop--ever--since the first time I've played the game in 2011.
