Flaming Attack Dog Information
Fiery cousin of the Undead Attack Dogs. These red-colored fire-breathing demon wiener dogs are small and hard to hit.
Drops
- None
Attacks
- Bite - Fast attack, causes bleed and can't be parried.
- Jumping Bite - Fast slashing attack, causes bleed and can't be parried.
- Fire Breath - Slow ranged attack in which the dog breathes a stream of fire in a straight line. Has a long start-up time and deals fire damage.
Strategy
Use a spear to skewer these guys. It aims better down low. Keep your shield up and circle as normal. Locking on and fighting them in corridors is advisable. The dogs will sometimes wait for 2-3 seconds then breathe fire at you. Attack after lunges or breath. They're actually pretty easy to kill if you take them slow.

I'am playing as pyromancer and first time i saw their firethrower attack i said:
"Oh sh*t i want it too! But for now, let's fight fire with fire!" (There is absolutely no reference.)
Of course they were resistant against fire but i wanted to try. Even Fire Orb hits only 33 dmg to these living flamethrowers.
By the way i agree all the out-of-place comments.

These things don't fit blightown at all, and to be honest they probably don't belong in the game at all. They're just a resized attack dog that's red

Idk why, but 'flaming attack dog' is the most METAL thing to come out of this game. I love it.

I can't believe they created these annoying ass *****es just so they'd could name an enemy Firefox

Someone want to talk about that one Flaming Dog who endlessly runs in the giant Blighttown waterwheel?

Most out of context enemy in the whole game, on par with the giant half-tyrannosaurus corpses that wander through Lost Izalith.
Now that I think about it, both these enemies makes much more sense if you swap their respective locations. Damn.
