Drops | 1000 Souls (NG+ 2000) Souvenir of Reprisal |
Crow Demon is an Enemy in Dark Souls and Dark Souls Remastered. Enemies are hostile creatures that respawn when players rest at a Bonfire or upon death. Special enemies that do not respawn are classified as Bosses, Mini Bosses or Invaders.
Crow Demon Information
A tall and imposing enemy with an emaciated naked human body and a crow's head and wings replacing the normal head and arms.
Drops
- Souvenir of Reprisal (6% Chance)
Attacks
- Wing Attack - can be blocked
- 1-2 Wing Attack - can be blocked
- Jumping Grab Attack - cannot be blocked, but can be avoided. Can be escaped out of by repeatedly tapping L1/R1 in order with minimal damage done.
Strategy
- These guys are quite a pain. They have few attacks and in close quarters will use a left and right swing with their arm/wings, this can easily be blocked but will do high damage if it connects.
- When they crouch down, they will attempt a very damaging grab attack, in which they jump on the player and attack with their beaks. Since the pounce has a certain distance, moving either two backsteps away, or toward them when they start the animation, will make the attack miss.
- To deal with them you must block their swings and then avoid their dive, attacking in between. Pyromancy is powerful against them, but hard to land since they often launch themselves before attacking.
- They can be stunned too, which will give you some precious seconds to recover or land more hits.

1000 hp (roughly 8 bars) + 250+ phys. reduce + poise (56 for me)
Fap+Serpent Ring (Silver for XP into Phalanx, Gold for Crow Demon farm)
Shield: Bloodshield for the Toxic Zombies
#1 At bonfire, launch Power Within, select Wrath of the Gods
#2 Evade Gate Zombie, Rush Phalanx (2x WoG)
#3 Enter Chapel and move towards where the Occult/Dark Ember is/was.
#4 Kill 2x Melee, 1x Ranged Toxiczombie along the way (Block with Bloodshield to not get the Toxic debuff)
#5 Two Crows will land very close to each other at the Ruins, cut them down with a Slashing Weapon (Falchion/Scimitar) prefab with FireBuff
#6 Rush the Tower, Kill Ranged Zombie on the way - pull last two Crows and cut them down
If done right, the Power within will be running out at the last two Crow Demons.
Should you get grabbed, its roughly half your hp.
This trip should net you some 10k+ souls as well as a Souvenir of Reprisal in less than two minutes a run.
Three Slots for a fast 'Homeward' will make this run quite efficient. Hope somebody will profit from this, best of luck and praise the sun. \0/

Note that it is impossible to handle these without ring of fog. You also need to be able to oneshot them. Otherwise you WILL die in every situation where you aggro more than one.

It is surprisingly easy to make them fall off edges and die by waiting for the grab attack in the right places. Once they start crouching they can't change trajectory and go really far!

First Attack of the Black Knight Halbert stuns them. if you hit them with it wait 1-2 Seconds which also is the time for them to recover from the stun you can attack with the first move again and stunlock them pretty much forever.
